Important Rehearsal update information
The following was sent today (9/5/08) to all VBCPS employees:
"IMPORTANT INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYEES Based on the threat of inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Hanna, Virginia Beach City Public Schools is canceling all activities scheduled to take place in school buildings and on school property on Saturday, September 6. In addition, all school activities planned for that day at off-site locations in the city will also be canceled. This will include all professional development classes, parks and recreation activities and individual school events. If there are further cancellations over the weekend, the best way for you to stay in touch is to monitor the home page of vbschools.com. You will be contacted via AlertNow, our rapid communication service, if there is a change in school operating hours following the storm. You can also stay in touch by monitoring local media outlets as we will keep them updated as well."
Complying with these instructions, rehearsal for Saturday, September 6 from 10 am - 5 pm is cancelled. Make-up rehearsal will be Saturday, September 13 from 10 am - 5 pm.
