Director: Legally, educationally, and ethically responsible for every component of the band (VBCPS Regulations and Compliance, Design, Education, Students, Parents, Instructors, Equipment, Conduct, Logistics)
 
Writer: Responsible for the content of that component of the show (Drill, Guard, Horn-Line, Battery, Front Ensemble)

Coordinator: Responsible for that component of the band (Percussion, Guard, or Horn-Line)

Clinician: Brought in to work a specific area of expertise in irregular intervals

Specialist: Area of expertise used in special capacity

Technician: Area of expertise used in general capacity
