Director of Bands

From the Director:
Hello and welcome to the Princess Anne High School Band Program’s Website! Since 1953 Princess Anne High School has been serving the city of Virginia Beach by educating its citizens of tomorrow. The Band Program at Princess Anne is a diverse collection of ensembles and students. We offer our musicians a wide array of learning opportunities with our Indoor Guard, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Speed of Sound Big Band, Percussion Ensembles, and the Fabulous Marching Cavaliers. Our students are an exceptional group that believe in Hard Work and A Commitment to Excellence. Our booster organization, the MCPA (Marching Cavaliers Parents Association) is one of the hardest working, best supporting groups any program could hope to have. Our parents make what the kids do possible with an unwavering commitment to the program. Our students also receive instruction at the hands of a wonderfully committed Instructional Staff. They are an outstanding group of educators whose experience and teaching abilities are evident every time our kids perform.
I hope you enjoy this website hosted by our Marching Cavaliers Parents Association. It is a microcosm of the wonderful music and memories made by our outstanding students. Our students, parents, staff, and alumni form the backdrop of our experience here with the Band. The motto of the Fabulous Marching Cavaliers and the Princess Anne Band Program says it all: Unity with Pride.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments, and enjoy your visit!
